This folder contains attempts to use a .des file to load in two RG grids. It appears that there are bugs in the windows ferret version with the des file, so we haven't continued working on it.  

the folder with jnl files has some in there, but they have not been converted to using the des files.  I started testing things in the fer_temp_map* range and went down the list from there.  

the fer_load* files are different attempts to load in the data using des files OR simply loading in the two files separately and regridding them.

the lines_to_test.txt is just different lines of code i kept typing when doing testing and so they are contained there to copy and paste to quickly test things out.  

the datasets are also included.
